Hardware download from windows update

I just checked windows update, and apart from the few windows unpdates mentioned in another thread, there was also a hardware update too. It was an nvidea audio codec interface. I selected it and clicked install updates. It seemed to download correctly (ie the download bar got to the end and 636 kb out 636 kb). However, when it downloaded, it said failed. I've done this a few times now, and have not idea why.

Anyone know? Thanks .

Don't get driver updates from windows update, especially not for soundstorm. Grab the latest motherboard drivers either from MSI or Nvidia instead.
