Simple Backup software required

Hi guys,

I'm after a bit of software that will be able to sync the music on my computer with my external harddrive for backup as if I ever lost all my music I would just cry! Any ideas? Oh and I don't want it as backup files I want the actual MP3s copied.

copy the music with a batch job / shell script, or just drage and drop the whole folder onto a spare disk / partition at a regular basis. You dont need backup functionality to copy files

You could use a backup util though - would makes this simpler.

Acronis TrueImage has an incremental backup facility which works very well. The software is free on one the CDs of those computer mags - have a look in WH Smiths.

Can't you use a windows briefcase thing? You have your briefcase on the external drive, drag a folder containing al files you want to ever backup into it, and then periodically click "update all". That will then find the oldest file on either end and replace it with the newest.
