Never used Start8/10 but do use Groupy. Gives file explorer, ms office, notepad etc tabs. Very handy when you want multiple folders open but all in one instance.

I've never used Start8 or anything like that, I prefer my OS as straight as possible.

Toying with leaving it a bit and seeing if it changes, or just sticking Windows 10 back on, I was due a reinstall anyway so I'm not overly fussed either way...

So do I, but I also want the interface to work the way I want it to, not the way MS want me to want it to. All they had to do was include the option for the user to turn their new stuff off.

Instead, I get the choice of doing what MS want, or installing something like Start 8/10, and doing things how I want. In that situation, using Start 8/10 is my preference. But it shouldn't be necessary.

    Sounds very Apple-like doesn't it...

You do it our way, or you are doing it wrong...
