    easy as pie!

When in messenger and I click "My Emails" or "My Space" (or anyone elses!)..It still opens in IE!.. Even though default Browser is FireFox, I did what you said aswell.. ?!

    Any other suggestions?

Noo.. Lol. .you must of misunderstood me!.. When signed into MSN, it tells you whether you have any emails in Hotmail, soo when I have emails in my hotmail account I click the email link and it takes me to my Hotmail inbox, BUT this always opens in IE, and I want it to open in FireFox..

The same goes when I click the My Space button (next to My Emails) on MSN 7.. It opens the web page but in IE.. Where as I would like it to open in FireFox.. soo that was my original question.. can the MSN links be changed to open in FireFox..

I did what you originally said, and all other links open as expected its only the ones WITHIN MSn Messenger which don't open in the program I want it to.. Soo Was wondering whether any patches or tweaks were available to do this..

    Thanks

I think you're both misunderstanding each other. Muddyfox470 wants you to open emails in thunderbird ONLY, and you want to sometimes (or maybe always, I'm not sure), simply click the link to be taken to hotmail. AFAIK, there isn't a way to make it do that in firefox, unless someone knows something I don't.

I use thunderbird, but I do need to go into the web based hotmail to make sure nothing's got trapped in it's junk mail etc.

I tryes to, but i just select "no" followed by "do not remind be for a week" - doing this once a week is not too annoying
