    Firefox Question

As a new user to firefox is there any way I can configure it so that when I right click to open a link in a new window I remain in the existing window rather than jump to the linked page in the new window if you see what I mean

Easiest way is to middle click, opens a new tab but keeps you on the current one.

Just rick click and hit open in a new tab, not window.

Also look in Tools -> options -> Advanced -> Tabbed browsing options.

I've discovered the tabbed browsing its just that I can organise the pages into categories e.g. football with all football pages tabbed in one window, computers with all computer tabs etc.

Its not a real big issue but just wondered if it could be done

Try this extension http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/tabexte.../index.html.en it's quite comprehensive. Install and under Tools > Extensions have a play.
