Turn off font-smoothing in Word 2003...is it possible?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know how to turn off font-smoothing in MS Word 2003 under WinXP?

I know how to turn off the ClearType effect under display properties, but that still doesn't stop Word from anti-aliasing text.

We have a partially-sighted guy here at work who uses high levels of screen magnification. Not sure if you've ever looked at anti-aliased text under high magnification, but it just looks like a mess of pixels, and this guy needs clearly defined edges.
