This is what happened and I need some help to fix the problem.
Whilst I was shutting down I had a blue screen crash and therefore I powered down. Upon re-boot up I had a message saying windows could not start as the 'System' file (i think!) was missing or corrupted. It suggested using my Windows 2000 install CD to use the REPAIR option.
I did this but during the process it asked me for a 'System Recovery Disk'. I had an option of using this disk or press 'L' if I didn't have one. As I don't have one I pressed 'L' , but then it said it could not find a version on Windows 2000 on my C: drive and could not repair the problems.
Can anyone help me on this?
Many thanks.
