Odd problem with Messenger 8

My girlfirend logged into MSN messenger 8 tonight only to find all her contacts missing and all her personal settings back to default. I've had a similar glitch in the past and a quick sign out cured it. Unfortunately didn't cure hers. I re-added myself to her contact list expecting her to pop up online on my laptop, but she didn't. I couldn't send her any messages either, offline or online.

Now if I log her in using messenger 7.5, or web messenger, all her details and contacts are back! Now I have tried this on 3 different computers all with the same results.

Anyone had or heard of this problem before? So far the only solution appears to be going back to 7.5. My google search didn't find anything either...

Just noticed I have the same thing lol...
Chances are its just a glitch, see what its doing 2moro, if ur contacts are still there in 7.5 I wouldnt worry about it

Cool, thats reassuring.

I'll check hers again in the morning.

UPDATE: Its all working again now... very strange...
