I managed to crash HL2 Deathmatch today by trying to quit whilst the next map was loading. I held the power switch down to turn the comp off. When I tried to reboot again the POST said "no keyboard or keyboard error" and the helpful option to press F1 or DEL!!

Luckily I managed to get going with a PS/2 keyboard, and into Windows, reconnect my USB CM keyboard, and away we go. When I booted back into Windows though, it took some time for my USB keyboard to be recognised at the password prompt.

Does this have anything to do with my plugging it back into a different USB port? Or could it be a portent of something else?
