opps i must be tired. Had a long day. anyway an agent is like some kind of program that acts on its own based on either a users interaction with a program or the actual state of one. Its a software agent that uses A.I techniques hope that makes sence

I take it this is a CS degree question?. I did my final year project on intelligent agents and used a prologue based tool that integrated into java to make it assimilate schedules from the university. Gave it information to search (like the route of a web page) and it searched for common time information Dates in the format of 29/02/06 etc as well as times and tried to them disseminate that information into a useful timetable format.

jonneymendoza, stop hiding behind other peoples nicknames and start doing some research your self.

I don't know why you've changed nick names other than you've got that many peoples backs up you've had to change nicks.

Take a look at the lcdc and smartie pages and the 3rd party modules and adapt them, basiclly its just an LCD even driver on the keyboard, so it shouldn't b etoo hard to do.

I don't know why you want to use java (although I seem to remember that when you where jonneymendoza you said you where a java wizz with %90 on your exams) but java for interaction with software drivers/the OS is not the best call

If you don't know jonneymendoza, who I personally regard as a moron.

    then explain this thread

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=63939

You post as Josh, then half way through you start talking as JonneyMedoza, then switch back to Josh.

Also - Jonney stopped posting on here (which considering he was a reasonable poster is strange), then shortly after his last post your account was created, jonney has not posted anything until yesterday (funny enough after I pulled you up for being jonneymendoza), to which you actually reply to his post, so jonney quits, you subscribe, jonney is dormant, I call you jonney and he comes back to post so that you can reply to his post, in perhaps attempt to prove your not jonney.....Doubtful in a big way.

    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=68757

Note the time delay, just a matter of a minute or so after he posts, you post what really helpful timing just after I've suggested you jonney. I'd say that minute or so is enough time to logout as jonney and login as josh, and what happy timing that you are seeing a thread from jonney (who you've said you don't know) and you reply to it, almost to useful a coincidence.

    Also,

lets look at some of your posts
    Java
    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=65780
http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=68458 (ok initial reference to java)

and shock horror, jonney is also a big fan of java
    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=54771
http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=60634 (ok this thread was edited)

You and jonney both have an interest in sky+ into the computer (this is a poor example but another happy co-incidence)
    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=65914
    http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=68550

I freely admit I could be wrong on this, but it doesn't look good - especially the first thread where you switch from josh to jonney and back to josh in the same thread.

anyway on topic, yes doing it in the language of the SDK is a good idea as it should make life easyer.

But how is it going to be an intelligent agent?

If your convinced its the same person why not just ask an admin to see what the IPs of the two accounts are and see if they match?
