    Adobe Premier Pro - Cross fade video? How?

    how the hell do you crossfade video? spent an hour trying to find out how.

    It's under the dissolve filters in the video transitions.

    what happens if you simply drag a piece of video over another? doesn't it cross fade them?

    i dunno PPro meself - use other stuff

    just curious

    From memory, place one video on track A, the other on Track B with a slight overlap of a couple of seconds (or however long you want the fade to be) then place the fade "in between" the two tracks where they overlap.
