GentooX Live?? Xbox (1) Lunix.

Im not particularly interested in installing this to my Xbox HDD, so can i just run it from the CD?

I am hoping so, else its a wasted download


If not, which Lunix dist's can be ran from the CD?


[e!] ok, i think ive misunderstood 'Live CD' - does Live mean you can run the OS from the CD for as long as the systems on, or, you can just install to the HDD from the CD?

in the context of "normal" linux distributions, a live cd is a cd where you boot the cd & can use the os as long as the cd is loaded, without affecting the parent machine's hard drive.

i don't know to what extent this applies to xboxery
