What the *%&^ is with microsoft?

Would you subscribe to microsoft onecare?

I find it absolutely ridiculous that are computers are unsafe and microsoft are offering such products. why the hell cant they provide it for free? afterall, if it would help their reputation then it would benefit them!!!!
why dont they? why? because they are a greedy, monopolistic, money orientted company.

yes, they want to make huge profit, but why cant they help themselves by helping us?

maybe if they were more in to developement rather than distribution, they would not have to have days like'patch tuesday'

to say bill gates dosnt want to be the richest man, what the hell is he doing with Microsoft? making it more and more profitable and dominant - taking advantage of this! creating more legal problems for them - with adobe

    end of rant!!

Interesting first post - was it meant to start a genuine debate, be a troll post or just rhetorical diatribe?

    Edit:
I ask because this has been discussed before - searching this forum for OneCare turns up a few hits, the longest thread being this one.

I'd like to know how you can code an operating system that prevents people installing malware by accepting the installation dialog boxes, without preventing them from installing every other program. You seem to suggest this is possible though. Maybe you should tell Microsoft how to go about it?
