Save settings and Emails and stuff from a different drive without F&S wizard?

I sold my computer, but not the hard drive, but i forgot to do the files and settings wizard to save all my settings and emails etc.

I have since set XP home up on another hard drive, and my other installation of XP home is still on the other drive. The other drive wont boot in this new system, so does anyone know how i can rescue my old settings and transfer them to the new installation?

Im sure its something easy that ive missed, but i didnt want to risk losing the emails.

    Any ideas?

    thanks

    Thanks Howard,

Unfortunately that didnt work, but i did get it working for anyone else that needs to do it.

It took 4 tries, but worked in the end..

Use the windows installation disc and follow the instruction as if you are doing a fresh install, it will see that windows is already on there and will give you the option to repair (not the recovery console), choose the repair and itll go through what looks like a fresh install, and voila, your windows should work after that. oddly, it kept hanging on installing the sound card, and thats the only part of the system that it had the correct drivers for. ok so did that and then ran the files and settings wizard and the jobs a good un
