I just set my nano to only sync one playlist then drag and drop albums in and out of that, works for me.

It's 7.0.1 I'm running now. I installed it to see if it would cure the 7.0 bugs and to start with it was fine but after a couple of weeks it's gotten almost as bad as 7.0 was again. It crashes on closing almost every time too and it refuses to upgrade the firmware on my iPod ("Unknown error 1417") unless I manually stop the ipod with the "Safely remove hardware" systray thing, unplug and reconnect it when the progress bar is stuck on 0. Still a long way off acceptable IMHO.

8bit, check you have Terminal Services running. After much tearing of hear and gnashing of teeth, I found out Itunes depends on Terminal Services to properly recognise your Ipod. Annoying, as it is one of the first services I usually disable.

    Cheers,
    Stephen

Currently it is running but it's set to Manual start. Quite why iTunes should depend on Terminal Services escapes me though... In any case it's never had a problem seeing the iPod, the problems for me are all to do with iTunes stability, or lack of.

I've just uninstalled it and reinstalled with the 7.0.1 package since last time I installed 7.0.1 over 7.0. Will give it a few days and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip tho!
