Just a CPU/RAM monitoring gadget that I downloaded using the "get more gadgets" button

Looks remarkably like the Konfabulator version

Kempez, I've got that Robot WMVHD movie too hehe! I currently use the Dolphins HD video that I got from the same site, looks lovely as the background.

    Sure have mate: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...tshowcase.aspx

Some very nice looking free clips available to download there. The dolphins one is lovely as a desktop background in my opinion.

It's a shame its only available for the Ultimate version. Running Enterprise here. I'll have to save a bit more for Ultimate. Looks very nice Kempz, is that a dell 24" LCD you have?

Aye tis the 2405FPW, lovely monitor

It seems that dreamscenes really takes up a lot of RAM (idle in Vista is 28...dreamscenes takes around 45-48 when working

Also it uses around 15% cpu on each core...which is quite a lot imo.

However it aint exactly doing much else other than sitting there so it doesn't bother me really

not sure what type of movie files your using but wmv files are known to be resource hogs when used in dreamscene try using an mpeg you should see much lower resource usage.

There doesn't seem to be that many great videos to use at the moment. Most dreams are far too busy to be used as a desk top. Something subtle, and only slightly noticeable is best imo, maybe like a waterfall for example.
