    Re: Tea Question

Yeah, Tea has anti-oxidants in. Especially Green Tea. White Tea has even more.

Neither is supposed to be drank with milk. Green Tea I found a bit harsh. White tea tastes better.
And if you are on a diet then cutting out the milk may help you out.

You can get flavoured green teas - I prefer them as plain green tea is a bit bland.

I like the Chinese Green Tea they bring you in the pots when you go for a Chinese. When you buy it from the shops it never tastes the same.

    Re: Tea Question

I'd keep away from the juice, as mentioned better to eat the real fruit.
Most of the time the stuff thats put into the juice isn't anywhere near as nutritious as the fruit. Know it can be a bit messy though.

As for tea - check out this site Tea Benefits - it's a great resource on all the benefits.
At the moment I tend to drink White Tea - believe it's the best anti-oxidant tea you can get. Bit pricier though.

    Re: Tea Question

Hi mac007 - I will check out the 'Tea Benefits' thread . I spend a fortune on fruit and also veg . Eat a lot more greens than I did before. Lunch usually consists totally of fruit with maybe a piece of cheese and a yogurt. Weight is coming down slowly which is maybe a good thing. Got a health check last week and I still have to lose 5 kilos to be back at my weight last year . Main thing is that by changing my eating habits I am feeling a whole lot better- still a long way to go mind but getting there. Thanks to all you guys who have contributed to this thread and keep the advice coming.
