Unfortunatly they only have the XL left in stock. I dunno what height you are though so this could be fine.

guys wondering if u can help.
GT avalanche fork and the rockhopper which one is better?
SR X-100 fork
RockShox Tora 302 SL
bike wise i think rockhopper and GT seem pretty much equal so when i test ride i think the main differance, even though price wise i see rockhopper for 350 while GT seems only 400 lowest
Tbh i was originally looking the rock hopper but couldnt get my size. And even then i found the rock hopper with the disk breaks to be alot more expensive than the GT.
If you can get a rock hopper with the disc breaks cheaper than the GT avalanche 1.0 2008 disc then i'd go for the hopper.
Can you send us links so we can see which ones you are comparing?
Thanks

http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/product...s2p1429&z=2632

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/...-bike-ec001453
if i wanted to get disc depending on if i find the rockhopper the right sort of bike, il ebay it sinse i found one for 400.
Hey, I like the GT range, but in my experience Trek offers you so much more.
I have had my Trek 4700 for SEVEN years and it still looks and rides like new! I ride it EVERY DAY and keep it in my hall.
i got the rockhopper 08 v break and it WICKED. the gt was way to heavy for me personally and spec wise rockhopper better.
trek ones in my price range were pretty poor having dart forks.
Rockhopper has hydraulic discs(better than V's) and front sus isn't bad.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
yes the new one does, i have the v break 08 rockhopper with tora 302 sl fork.Rockhopper has hydraulic discs(better than V's) and front sus isn't bad.
the new one is tbh way to exspencive for the spec, it has disc breaks but the fork has been down graded to a dart turkey 3 which isnt as good as the tora 302 sl coil.
and for 589 it isnt really value for money as i got my rockhopper v break for 390
Are you still trying to buy a hard tail bike? Then you should check out with eBay. I was informed that they sell almost all kinds of stuff. I just wonder if they are also selling medicines/drugs. By the way, about bikes, I have a 3 year old road racer in my garage and planning of trying to personalize it with some designs. Can someone help me out?
i was in your situation about 5 days ago, looking for a hard tail for about the same price...
this is what i went for: Charge Blender 08
but for me it was a choice off rockhopper or the blender i nailed it down to, blender is much better for off road stuff...im using it for downhill but i been told rock hopper is better for general going around places your pick
one happy blender owner (i love it)
speciall the front sus is awesome and the hydrolic disks on it are amazing they stop the bike dead pretty quickly
now all im going to do is stick MAXXIS high roller, and minions on it and im off to alps
Nice pic....
Very serious looking lol. The gloves make your hands look very big though

the rockhopper is very good, it got a nice fork, tora 302 sl and the frame is nearly race quality and also won the MTB under 600 pound bike of the year(09 model)
i going to stick some avid elxir breaks on it and il still have a under 600 pound bike which will be amazing value.
