Yeah, registered with First and Only. Finally got my third game sorted so I'm UKARA registered now (allowing the purchase of replica firearms rather than the half transparant/luminous orange variations). But I've yet to do Anzio which is supposed to be the best from what I've heard.
Anzio is great although I prefer the Mall as its nice and up-close and personal. I get to use my pistols lot which always is a bonus, I'm gonna be at Anzio again on the 18th (hopefully) if you wanna give it a go

I tried it once with a bunch of mates, can't say I was that enthralled. I used to get paid to run around with real guns, so I found it slightly degrading paying to run around with toy guns.
I'd much rather do my military roleplay stuff on my computer.

Clearly went at the wrong time then.
There are tones of peoples that go, who used to be in the miliaty or some form and really enjoy it. The guns aren't exactly toys though, they are classed as real imitation firearms for a reason. Probably due to the damage they can do if used wrongly.
Anyway....
Supposed to be going again, either the weekend of the 18/19th or sometime after, depending on which weekend me and my mates aren't working.
Oh, MadAussie, have you heard that they are apparently going to open a new site somewhere? Apparently the place is huge, with one building being 6 floors.
I go once more, I can get my licence, I can get registered and all that, then save and buy a gun
M4 please
I went to The Mall today, only two months after the original date I was going to go! Found it good fun, slightly painful but nothing too bad (a couple on the legs, and one on my neck). Just as well I was wearing gloves as I got hit a few times on the hands, and they still stung. Got some good action, with a couple of good confirmed kills. Also shot one of my own team in the balls; but in my defence he ran around the corner from where the enemy were, pointing a gun at me! Then there was one game where I was at the bottom of C&A covering the back door, where the other team were wondering if and where our team were on the room. One guy chanced it and I shot him as he went through the door. I then heard one of the guys say: -
"Well, seeing as there's 20 of us, why don't we just charge in?"
That seemed a prudent time to retreat to the stairwell, where I helped massacre them as they went through the door! However, the amount of dead guys blocked my view and the room soon filled with the other team, and I was rewarded with a grenade at my feet!
Would probably look into getting my own face mask for next time, as I didn't find the one supplied very comfortable. I saw a couple of people wearing a split mask, with googles and a separate mask for nose, mouth which also covered the neck. I did bring my head-over, but got too hot with it on, so that type of mask looked good. Will be definately going back at some time, probably Haloween depending on whether I get called in or not that weekend.
EDIT: Forgot to mention there was one big downer; my car got covered in bird crap! So I had to stop off at Tesco to get it cleaned, but probably needed a clean anyway!

Been playing since around 2000. It always amuses me that it's the least aggressive sport I know and it involves shooting people.
Bit of a break from it at the moment. Lack of sites in Norfolk for me. It's also been through a nasty phase of things being based around loudmouths in Internet forums (what hasn't?). The primary UK site being a joke a few years ago, I'm not sure about it these days.
I used to play for about 4 years... from the age of 12 - 16. I had all Japanese made ones - Marui. They were really big then. Haven't followed the sport for years after I stopped... I spent a total of at least 5,000 quid on the 'sport' as a whole. Not even kidding haha.. I was lucky to have such loving parents heh. But it was legit. Me and my buddies looked like a joint range of dispersed comrades ranging from SAS to SWAT to Delta to Special Forces. We had legit gears. I remember buying a real used U.S. M10 gas mask.. I was so excited, but stopped using it because it was so hard to breath while wearing it and running around. I bought a few gear pieces from BlackHawk I believe that's the name of the brand. I think marines and special forces use their gear in real combat. Yes.. those were the days when you still lived under the support of mommy and daddy hah...
I owned numerous guns. MP5, M14 Carbine x2, AR-15, and G36. I remember the coolest thing I saw was some guy who somehow acquired real flash bangs. They were dead, but he said he got it from a pal that serves in the military.

Yup, I went once, bought a couple of guns (Cyma Glock 18c AEP and a JG HK416 AEG), then... Never went again. I'm arranging stuff with a mate though, should be back out there at some point
I think CQB night wars are the most exciting of all!!!
Especially when the place is apparently 'haunted' until you really see something
