if you can find one on ebay, best one is a concept 2 rower. They're the ones used in gyms and are one of the best you can get. Ebay normally has them for anything between £150 up to £700, just gotta keep an eye out.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Yep, the Concept is what I used to have, or failing that, any machine with a large flywheel & brake system rather than a just friction belt.
    Cheers, David

Ebay (UK) concept 2 rowing mac. page - http://sports.search.ebay.co.uk/conc...Z1QQsofocusZbs.

The cheapest bid seems to be for £122 - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Concept-2-indo...QQcmdZViewItem.

I think the thing to check if you do decide to go the ebay route, is how much the delivery will cost, to stay within your budget. Some of the posters are advising collect only, so location of seller will be important, ie if you live in Southhampton, you won't want to collect from the Shetland Islands.

Another vote for Concept 2. Make sure you have the space for it though, they're reasonably long.
