Thecus N5200 Hot Swap Problem

Hello,

I got my N5200 last week, and I got 5 400GB seagate drives and put them in. The RAID6 built just fine and I transferred some data onto the box.

A day later, I checked the status of the drives and 2 of them had some reallocated sectors. So I had 2 new ones shipped to me, and will return these.

Once I got the new ones, I took out ONE of the existing drives with reallocated sectors. (I kept the box on, etc...just removed the drive and put in the new one).

Well...the RAID6 days it's degraded, and it doesn't seem to be automatically rebuilding.

I go to the raid configuration, and it shows DISK 2 is in there, but all the "used" boxes to add it to the raid are greyed out...the only thing that's available is "spare".

I don't want it to be a spare, I want it to be a part of the Raid.

Why isn't it rebuilding to include that drive into the raid? How do I get it to do someothing with that drive?
