N299 attached USB drives visibility problem

    If anyone could tell me
how to get the USB hdd back visible and accessible,
while it fully was first time plugged to N299.
The most abstract for me thing is the drive, while attached,
can be perfectly seen form an administration panel,
but not from a web browser or explorer in order to access its contents.

I know the problem may be common,
but nowhere found the solution as yet

    thanks in advance

Re: N299 attached USB drives visibility problem

    Dear Sir,

    Following suggestion for your reference:
    1. The USB driver just in FAT/FAT32 for reading & wiriting, NTFS for read only.
    2. Since we plug USB driver into N299, we could verify the compatibility issue from STORAGE->DISKS, if the WEB page new add this USB driver with corrent volume.
    3. This USB driver would under the folder of USBHDD, as like \\N299IP\usbhdd\sda1
