The following sequence occured:
I was rebuilding the RAID after replacing a hard disk number 3 on a 5 volume RAID array.
Due to a power failure (protected by a Uninterruptable power supply) I had to shut the N5200PRO down.
When I restored power, the RAID array started building again, with the correct disk marked as "spare" (disk 3).
The web page now said 7000 minutes to complete, which was much larger than the 300 minutes that it has said before shutdown.
In order to make the process start again and register the correct time, I removed disk 3 again and reinserted it.
The web page then said "damaged" for less than 1 minute before starting the rebuild again with 300 minute estimated time.
The device is now continuing to rebuild (250 minutes remaining), but when I click the "raid config" button on the "Network->RAID" webpage, it says "You do not have any RAID system". On the "Network->RAID" webpage it also says data capacity N/A. Access through SMB/CIFS seems to be turned off.
I had over 1 TB of data on this machine and would like to get it back.
I have 2 related questions:
Even though the web page says I have no RAID system and SMB/CIFS is unavailable, will the RAID volumes return after the current rebuild?
Is there any other way of recovering my data from the machine?
