Woot! Finally broke the 10k barrier. Decided I'd give Fusion Frenzy 2 a go from my local Blockbuster since I wasn't really sure from the demo. Very easy achievements, and I'm sure the games pretty good as a party game, but I don't think I'll be buying it, at least not until it's like a tenner.

I thought that too. I quite liked the demo, but wasn't sure if it was worth more than 20 quid.

Yeah it's only good for like a tenner or something, and even then, it's only worth playing with a few mates for a laugh. The host guy who also does the commentary is also bloody annoying. The commentary is so poor as well, since it seems to be completely random. "We still don't know where this is going to go!" Uhhh I'm like a billion points in front, it's obvious I've won.

well you're only 170 points off, I think I'm going to have to start playing some of my back collection to try and increase my lead (*dusts off King Kong to try for another 900 pts*)

Well good news for you lot - I am currently without a 360 as it has died out of warranty - bit of a weird error tho no flashing lights the console just wont power up and the power supply unit light stays on amber.

I will be back tho, got to wait till the middle of next month before I can purchase a new unit (if the other half lets me ) if not I guess a few games will be added to the buy/sell forum.

Just get a core off ebay cheap!

Oh and if its not been repaired, call MS and tell them you bought it.... about 2 weeks ago? They never ask for proof of purchase when repairing consoles.

    Yea, username is Carlhuz

Tom I "could" get a core of ebay but think I might pop to gamestation and get one from there - can always trade in the stuff I dont need then and get some cash back - and a full year warranty.

Muhahaha, the number 4 spot is mine! Well, it is when it updates, and probably not for long

Managed to complete King Kong, got quite fun at the end, I didn't really like the combat system that much, I liked the bits where it was just running for your lives, using the food chain system to distract enemies so you get past them unharmed.

What I really didn't like was when you're near death, the screen turns bloody, it's a nice effect, but you can't see a damn thing. I was running up some windy stairs, and a V-rex chasing me, he bit me and my screen went all red, and I had no clue where I was, or where I was going. By the time the blood cleared, the V-rex had carried on up the stairway a bit after the rest of the group, and it was unfortunately blocking my path so I ended up being gobbled up.

I think it was a fun game to play through, worth the tenner I paid for it, but I would've been a bit pissed if I'd payed full price around launch time.

I've also got Condemned I need to finish now, for some bizzare reason they only put in 970 points, it's quite a good game, but a bit tedious and slow since I'm going through it using only melee weapons. I think it was a good buy though, loving all these cheap classics, my copy of R6 I got the other day off play for £25 was probably the best money I've spent on my 360.

Veles, the best budget title in my opinion is Table Tennis. If you haven't played it already, you must. What a corker of a game, still the best sports title on the 360 in my opinion. It's a total blast in multiplayer too, both offline and online. I used to play it all the time with my brother in law and I'm tellin' ya, when you get a rally of 100 odd shots and the lights dim down and sound gets all intense your heart doesn't half start to beat rapidly!

Yeah I was looking at that the other day in game, although it was still quite expensive compared to the price it launched at. Gonna have a hunt around 'tinterweb to see if I can find it at a more reasonable price, I did enjoy the demo and can see it being a very fun game. Although I should really save my money, got my eye on a wireless wheel

How about £12.99 inc. Delivery at Gameplay.co.uk?
