A little about myself, I live in Florida, USA w/ my girlfriend and my 5 cats. I am a freelance Graphic Designer, Photoshop Junkie and I also build/repair computers. I am an avid PC gamer and enjoy most of the popular FPS games. I also enjoy music a great deal (Metal/Hard Rock) and never pass up the opportunity to go fishing.

Hey Guys & Gals,
New to the forum as you probably already know because I'm posting here in the welcome thread. :-)

I found the site while researching how to build a gaming rig that would blow my friends console into the outer reaches of the galaxy for less than he spent on his.

Not long after that, I was diagnosed with a potentially fatal illness and lost my job, my income, and my place to live while I battle with fighting the govt for the money I've been paying in all these years for just this type of situation.

So needless to say my dream died a little bit, but then I found the hexus competitions and the dream came back to life. But instead of the gaming rig, my dream is to now build a pc that's capable of handling my graphic design and development skills.

That way while I'm fighting this disease I can try to supplement some of my lost income to contribute to the household of my friend who took me in (It's times like this that you find out who your real friends are) and not feel like such a loser who's too weak to help or contribute.

Then when I'm too weak to work on pc from the treatments I get I'll have some awesome games to play while my mind is too foggy to concentrate on design etc.

But enough of the woe is me story, just keep your fingers crossed that I win a decent rig and get better so I can stop being a burden to my friends.

Oh and that the Facebook links start working so I can get the extra entries.

I'm glad to be a part of such a talented and knowledgable group of people...
