hi everyone seems Im not alone. my beef with tiscali is i left them after my contract expired (by some months) but i was continuing to use them until i found a better ISP. I canceled my direct debt at the bank and proceeded to use another ISP with faster speed and free phone calls. Tiscali sent me a letter saying that they couldn't supply my broadband any more, so i though "good" and never gave it another thought. about tree months later i had a demand for payment. no explanation as to what it was for, just a demand for £29.67. i wrote and asked for an itemized bill and waited for a response, none came. so i forgot all about it. then i had a letter from a debt collecting agency, telling me to pay up immediately. i phoned them and they said they would put it on hold, but i had to write to them with the details about the supposed debt? I wrote to tiscali enclosing a copy of my original letter, and a scan of the collection agency letter. The following day I phoned the debt collecting agency to confirm that i had written to tiscali and they told me that the case had been dropped ????? so what are they playing at now.............any suggestions
ps im still waiting for a response to my letter to tiscali ........
