i missed it, any chance of a summary of what happened?
there is a repeat just on BBC three. The episode is 5/8 - if that means anything.
-- SUMMARY --
Basically, the "hustlers" dress as undercover detectives/policemen and wants the customer's goods that he has just purchased from Yoyo Tech.
Goods are: HDD *Hard Disk Drive*
Policeman = "Hey, there is a shoplifter in this location and he looks like you...."
Customer= "Let me see your badge"
Policeman * Pulls out a fake badge and just flashes it, not letting consumer taking a proper look.
- Eventually the dispute is ended and the policeman says that I am going to take the goods back to the shop and check with the manager that you brought them, whilst the other conman (also dressed as an officer) keeps the consumer on the pavement.
The obvious, the pretend policeman runs off with the goods, and then radios the other partner who is holding the customer to tell the customer that it is alright to take back his goods cause he "left them at the shop" with the manager at Yoyo Tek.
The two pretend partners are one HDD richer whilst the other man (customer) has been "hustled"
The aim of the show is to warn people, and therefore any stolen property is returned to the owner of the property before the "huslte".
Hope this explains it.
i never engage with a police officer until theyve told me who they are and provide me with a number to their station and that station is able to confirm they exist
