    disapointed by pickup service

So, I needed a new 2.5" HDD caddy too USB, but knowing that one of the SSE guys decided too upload some really crap vols, i knew i wouldn't be getting out on time let alone early. So i needed too get a friend too pick it up for me.

After calling before lunch, I'd asked for a 9691 too be put behind for my friend too collect. I told her too just ask for the order for Alex.

    It wasn't there

This is not very great guys, if your going too charge a premium compared too the online price, its good too have great service, that i don't mind paying for.

I know there is the premise cost and all the times i've been there very well staffed, which I imagine isn't cheap. It just ment i had too take a call at a very bad moment, and explain something again, which always gets me.

Hi, had it have been a 'reserve and collect' it would have been very straight forward, however it was not put to one side as we have plenty instock, If you would have took sales pearson name, we might be able to pin point it easier. However will be mention to all staff about this situation so it doesnt happen again

I think this came up elsewhere in a thread - but I can't remember which one

The process that YOYOTech explained was that you need to use their 'Reserve & Collect system' - or the goods cannot be 'put by'

    The reason is simple

You are a genuine customer (and regular poster on HEXUS.net) - but not everyone is

There are a load of lamer/wasters out there who might reserve stuff with a phone call and then never collect

Imagine if a loser reserves something - they hold it for 2 days - and the loser never collects

No imagine of that 'something' were a really cool piece of kit (a new Raptor or sumsuch) and plenty of enthusiasts came into the shop over that 2 day period to buy it - but it had a 'reserved sticker' on it

The 'reserve but never collect' loser has just stitched up a bunch of honest enthusiasts

OBVIOUSLY that is not you with the best part of 3,000 posts to you name - but YOYOTech need to have one system in place that works for everyone - HEXUS.massive and losers-anonymous
