    Asus P5E3 Deluxe: FAULTY

Just a note to all, I have just purchased an Asus P5E3 Deluxe that seems to have a fault with the on-board sound. As soon the driver activates the sound card the speakers emit a high pitch noise that is too loud to ignore. This happens both in XP and Vista and I have tried another pair of speakers.
I have now had to stuff an old Sound Blaster PCI card in my gamming rig while I source a better sound card as I can’t be without my PC for a month while I RMA the motherboard.
    Shame!

    Hi

If you beleive your product to be faulty, simply fill in the RMA form on their site and send the motherboard back to YOYOtech, or take it into the store.

It shouldnt take as long as a month as long as the motherboard is in stock and it is a recent purchase.

Re: Faulty Motherboard Returned 3 Weeks Ago...

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi there Jeremy, we have checked our records and have your board as a rma.....
this has been sent back to asus for them to deal with under the rma warranty....
we have been chasing asus to find out where your board is, and have been told that we are expecting a big asus delivery of stock this morning, and included in that is your motherboard.....
as soon as we have check the delivery and confirmed what is on it, we will let you know,
    thank you
    mark
It is my understanding from reading other posts on this forum that Yoyotech will ship my motherboard back to ASUS rather than supply a replacement, can any one form yoyotech confirm or deny this?
