    Overclocking

    Ok, im gonner overclock my q6600, but wonner know whats a good cpu fan to get, as my zalman 9500 isnt up to the job , when i OC to 3gigs the idle temps are around 42c , when at max load there in the 55c to 60c range, i know intel say no more than 70c ... ok so what fan people..

    55 under load isn't bad tbh.
    I have one of these Tuniq TOWER 120@YOYOtech and it's darned good, bit it's rather large. E6600 42c under max load @ 3.6ghz

    I know, and I’m absolutely astounded how well this chip overclocks. I will say one thing though, it really is worth spending that little bit extra on the motherboard, a lot of people assume it just joins all the expensive bits together (Graphics card, memory & CPU) but it is just as important.
