Firstly, you pathetic ABIT Boy flame comes from a tiny brain. You only mentioned this because you have one of the boards i questioned. Rightly so aswell...its very overpriced for what it is/does.

Just becasue a company is the biggest, it doesnt make them the most reliable. Asus chave a VERY questionable CS department.
Im not an ABIT fan because of the product. Im an ABIT fane because of the support that omes with it.

So do YOU think you can 'wrap your mind' around that?? (Are you an 80's yuppie throwback? You must be using terms like that).
come on you can do better than that, btw asus boards outperform abit in any fsb tests, reliability might be a question, we'll just find out in time, called you an abit boy cause you just keep pushing these boards in lots of threads like you are their representative, asus cs department is as good as gold for the one and only time i rma'd my graphics card, how can you even question that if you haven't used it? "yuppie throwback" - give me break, what a you 65, still trying to hold on on to something old and precious? at least i give any new things in life a chance, so stop bitching, and try to help someone like staffsmike does, not like some door to door salesman and believe me unlike your avatar says, i doubt any wife would like you - they like to try new positions, not just missionary that you try to hold on to

    Re: Motherboard for Q9450

    ooo a fan club

I've not used asus support in a long time, but I know from some of the european guys on notebookreview that they are still at bit naff at suporting thier laptops.

That said, I've never had an Asus board go wrong and I have about 6 of them all still working.

I'm fairly new to abit, but given the constant bios updates, the quality of the boards themselves and the lengh that abit sean has gone to, to get people working again I feel compelled to recommend them. Also the IP-35 has one of the best layouts i've ever seen

That doesn't take anything away from the fact that the P5K and Muska's board in particular is an awesome overclocker, beating X38 boards in most of reviews I've seen.

The P5E i'm sure is a good board but I wouldn't get DDR3 so if you want an X38 board the abit is the one to go for. I'd go for a nice P35 though
