It has an extra level on it with a boss fight at the end, one of the huge beasts that have armaments. You do need to go to the official site though and grab the patch to make it work on Vista & 7. Looks really nice on the PC, just a shame that 2 & 3 didn't get released.

Think I may install it today and play through it again, fully supports my 360 wireless controller on PC so I can sit on the couch and play it on my big TV

Re: Vintage games that I should play

1 Deus Ex Invisible war = No, well it's the weakest of the Deus Ex games, the original while the graphics are not that pretty is much better in term of game play, more of a level based 1st person rpg than a shooter and gives you a lot of freedom.

If you like the civilization games, then get a copy of alpha centauri, still probably my favourite civ game to date, and the game that still holds my "longest single play session" record at 22 hours.

I would say the original Red Faction, ok graphically it's rather long in the tooth, HL1 levels, but I always loved it as a game and the story and level design for it.

For old isometric rpg, the original fallout, fallout2 and Planescape Torment

Diablo2 and torchlight are great hack&slash

    Witcher and witcher2

    DUNGEON KEEPER 2 so good

Freespace 1 and 2 are great, although I still have some issues with them. (in the first capital ships are too weak and in the 2nd they are too strong, also you're more missile reliant in FS2)

And another +1 for Grim Fandango and the Monkey Island Series, although there's some newer adventure games that are good too.
I really liked the first Deponia game

I did quite like the "commmmmmmmmmies in spacccccccce" that was starlancer, but it was really annoying that the story didn't end it just stopped (was going to be a 2nd game but it never happened) Freelancer is good.

startopia is quite good, as is the oft overlooked Silentstorm (x-com meets ww2) and speaking of x-com, get the original there are some good mod's out for it too which can get around some of the annoying issues, although it is still a dos vga game for resolution
    X-com apocalypse isn't bad.

And as others have said go over to gog.com so much good stuff and unlike steam releases, they actually check that they work before being put on the store.

Re: Vintage games that I should play

    Shadow of the Colossus
    Ico
    Silent Hill 2
    Resident Evil (HD remake)
    Star Wars - Rogue Leader
    Eternal Darkness - Sanity's Requiem
    Hitman - Blood Money
Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic
    Fahrenheit
    Ninja Gaiden Black
    Skate
    Beyond Good and Evil
Resident Evil - Code Veronica X
    Rez
    The Darkness
    Condemned
    Bioshock
    Shenmue

I know there's not a lot of "vintage" there but I've tried to pick high points from the end of the Playstation 2's generation and the very start of the next gen console cycle that followed, seeing as that's where a lot of your picks seemed to land. Oh, and most of them are available as HD remakes or packages too

It's also a million times better at a solid 60FPS (or higher) on the PC

The early Final Fantasy's are a great experience if you haven't played them already.

+1 for Tron 2.0. I go back and play that every now and again.

Also if you could relax the graphics requirement a little put MDK on the list. Loved that game, was even better pre save game patch so you had to do the whole level without dying to save your progress. Crazy ending too!

Re: Vintage games that I should play

Burnout 3 Takedown is a great one - I loved that game.
As far as the Splinter Cell games go I thought Chaos Theory was excellent.
    Also -

    Max Payne
    Hitman Blood Money
    Fear and/or Fear: Perseus Mandate
I know you aren't that into RTS games but the Dawn of War series is really good.
    Far Cry
I'm guessing you've played this but Left for Dead/ LoD 2

A ridiculously old game from my childhood, but was very fun and very interesting to see just how things have changed, ladies and gentlemen... BIG RED RACING:
