yep page loading seems pretty sluggish at the moment

I'd be interested to know the technical reason behind that change?.
Does rendering static pages actually save the DB that much?

We are rolling out a new optimisation script to better describe the content our creative community writes.
The main reason for this is to make searching for us easier and making our search result more relevent to the criteria that is being searched for.
It shouldn't take too long and will settle down soon - hopefully it will make people more aware of our excellent community.

seems they have decided to SEO hexus.
not a bad idea, to be honest its the main thing google relies upon for placement in searches... links etc seem to make little difference unless you are PR10
Something i've noticed.
I don't know if this is because things are not finished yet, but when i hit "New Posts" and a thread has been updated, the "Go to first unread" link doesn't take me to the right place. For instance, in this thread, it just takes me to my first post.
"Go to last post" is also acting weird.
I've noticed there seems to be 1 image that hangs on the homepage, not sure which one it was but Opera just reads "Image 13/13" for about 20 seconds normally.

Funkstar we will check your reported problem - it may take a little while to settle down, I am aware though that its got alot quicker now...
