Funny sometimes how things can be circular.

I was looking on a search engine for the phone number for the company that made my turntable (for you modern kids, it's a device us dinosaurs use to listen to music on vinyl). On the results page of the search engine, up came this HEXUS thread, so I clicked it and found a brief mention of that same turntable .... 12 YEARS AGO.

I was reading it and thinking 'blimey, that's a lot of compact cameras there' then I looked at the date. I think at the time I had a Canon A70. AA batteries FTW!

I wondered if anyone would get that.

Mind you, that turntable is "funny" in the sense of unusual, being all perspex and polished metal case, with mirror-black top, aluminium turntable with gold-plated brass stubs the record sits on.

I own a Kodak that is close to 8 years old now. Not the most advanced camera but it does exactly what I need it for.

Just realised I had an email about this thread. That's some revival.

My brother still has his 300D and my opinions of it are very different today. In 13/14 years it hasn't aged well.
Can't believe I've had my Canon XM1 that long, never did get around to upgrading it, have come close so many times though. I really should just bite the bullet and pick up an 80D.
