For the new folks wondering what PIFAST is !!!

Pifast is a program written by xavier.gourdon

Pifast is a small program that computes Pi to a set amount of decimal places
and also display's how long it takes. Since it tells you how long it takes this
then gives us a basis for charting the results giving a performance indicator
for new and old technology at a glance.

Hexus has carried this PIFAST app for a while with a pre-defined
batch file to autorun a set 10M digits and we use this as a
basis for benchmarking.

So why not check out how fast your PC is.....

Also don't forget to post a snapshot of your benchrun here
esp if your in the top20 along side any other proof like
Hoda snapshots of CPU/FSB speeds for validation of that
super score.

Bugger, I foobared my entry #228 clock speed should be 1795mhz, and the clock is 133ddr..

Having said that I just upped the multiplier up to 14 and it shaved 4.5 secs off.. blimey..

oohhhh, just changed over to 11*166 for 1830mhz and my score's dropped again, this time to 87.03 secs

Only trouble is my system is hitting 55C idle and 66C under load, with the side off and a deskfan blowing at it..

Methinks I need a better HSF then the generic one Novatech slapped on it..

Were you running seti or folding at the same time??

Fiddled and tweaked mine and got my speed down to 86.86 seconds btw

Thx Spike always nice to get a user with multiple rigs do it
on all, plus some good additions for me there in the way of
the dual Xeons good info for history and validation purposes.
