    Enermax Modu82+ ETA

When is the Enermax Modu82+ 525 likely to be back in stock? I've read that this model is discontinued in the UK - is this true? I thought it was a newish product with high demand?

That's disappointing. What is Enermax's replacement for this model?

Yeah I think they start above 800w. Wonder why the Modu82+ line was discontinued?

I've no idea I only heard from josh after he bothered to read on it (thanks ). I thought they were good PSU's too. Problem is you can't get the Revolution anywhere yet. Worst time to be buying PSU's (without spending loads for a good and efficient one).

Maybe Enermax will release some new mid-range PSUs soon? I hope....

defo. i asked someone from scan about the ETA of the psu and they said its been disconinued. aint this PSU quite new? like 5-6months new?

the only two reasons why i think they would discontinue it is because 1. There bringing out a new lineup soon or 2. there is something seriously wrong with that PSU to begin with?

    get this PSU instead. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/600w-...-Fan-ATX13-201

same price range and just as good

Interesting, I've heard only good things about these psu's. I built a system with a 385 pro 82 and power efficiency and acoustics were fantastic.

I guess psu's are changing fast. But why so many 800W+ models? Parts are using less watts for performance now days. And the majority of builds hardly ever hit above 250W at load.

    Samsung 320GB F1
    Asus Xonar Soundcard

    Doesn't even reach 200W

    Re: Enermax Modu82+ ETA

I've heard plenty of good reviews and customer reviews about these PSUs. I was thinking of buying one for my system so I can have a modular PSU and because it is a very good quality product. Disappointed to see I now can't get one

    Re: Enermax Modu82+ ETA

Does anyone know how many amps on 12v the HD 4850 uses (I have the HIS IceQ TurboX but I think it actually uses less power than the stock card) and what about the E7200?
    Thanks

I've already ordered another. Hopefully no fan problems. But thanks anyway. I expect to see a build log of your system

It takes time. I haven't seen how it installs on a 1366 socket but I'm thinking it must be like installing on S775 just larger

    Re: Enermax Modu82+ ETA

I was looking at replacing my old Enermax Liberty 500W PSU at one time, with the Enermax Modu82+ 625w. Since then i noticed the new Revolution models, but looking at that efficiency spec, got a feeling this is going to be one expensive range of PSU's. A mate just bought the 880W HiperPower HPU-4M880-PE 85% Eff (from scan), and is very pleased with it so far. His system is identical to mine, except he has a shiny new GTX 295, and i'm still with an 8800GTS 512. Power draw on my system is around 330W peak, in something like crysis, and only around 375W peak with his. That 85% energy certainly seems to be making a difference.

That's a shame. My Enermax Modu82+ 625W is excellent, very pleased with it.
