Am I glad I came across this forum, I placed an order last week with Beast-PC for a Zalman case (had one email from Darran Palmer saying thanks for the order) and had no end of trouble trying to get hold of somene there via email or phone calls to chase up order and got the continuing answer machine. In the end I contacted my credit card company and reported it as a pending fraud indicating the company(s) on the website, no monies were taken and the credit card company put an instant block on my account and are issuing me with new cards and a pin withing the next five days (small inconvenience for peace of mind). Something I learned is if you pay by credit card and are having trouble the Credit Card company cannot stop the transaction and it will go through so that is why I reported it as a fraud. They will also 'flag' the two company names attached to the website. I re rdered the case from Overclockers with 100% satisfaction.

always use credit card, i dont see why people still use debit. then if you mess up or get caught in a scam you have to go the full lengths to deal with it. with a cc you just call the company like heavy did and they deal with it.

last time i got robbed in the Uk the seller found my car backed up to his doors that morning, and me refusing to go anywhere until the ****** went to the bank and got cash. even the police didnt want to hear his moaning after i explained why i was there

half hour later i had my money back.

nah theres security cameras in the yard so i didnt do anything to get myself arrested.

was last year around october i think, guy took my money and never shipped the goods, never returned my call/emails so i drove to stoke nice and early and was parked against the shutters when he arrived to open up..

he asked what i was doing and i said waiting for him to arrive to he can go get the money he ows me, he gave me some BS about the cash is inside, i said i wasnt prepared to let him in until he went to the bank and got the cash. the phone was ringing inside so he was losing business and we both knew it, he phonned the old bill, they asked to speak to me and i told them if they came down i would throw the keys away to prove a point and if anyone tried to move my car i would defend myself as they would be moving me with it.

old bill told the guy they couldnt get out there till the next day as it was not important enough to dispach a car, and advised him if he did infact ow me the money that he would be as well going to the bank and getting it me as there was no guarentee they could get out until tomorrow night.

i think the police were on my side for once that day !
