    Question In9 32x-max Bios

    Hi

I am just wondering does anyone know the eta on a bios update for my IN9? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Really happy with my one, slowly getting my OC back to P5B level.

Only 1 problem is that my bios seems to lock up sometimes. Not sure why this is.

    Thanks

The original bios will lock up when in set up. I suggest you get one of the betas until the next official bios is out.

This bios is much better thanks Sean.

Currently running prime, so far back to 3.2GHz.

I'v also been able to run my memory at T1 rather than T2.

    Thanks again to Sean.

It's now version 11, its going much better than the release version.

There is still a few little problems, such as the bios likes to change back and forth between linked and unlinked mode by itself and it still doesn't want linkboast to work with my 7900GTO.

Think most of these should hopefully be sorted in the next couple of versions?

Hello, NoPrisoners. Sorry to hijack any thread on my first post, but I'm kind of desperate for that new beta BIOS you've got, because I'd like my board to work properly (doesn't everyone ). So I'd be grateful if you could share the said BIOS with us all. Pretty please?

Would be nice with a fix for this. I run v1.0 and have probs with memory going 1:1 between FSB(total) 1500-1600, when running unlinked. Some other wierd timings above that. Cant get it to boot above 1700 though. Im using a crappy case and the standard fan atm, prolly the reason, gonna try more when I arse to move it to my P180B with a Zalman C9700.

Also, why does it want to run my memories at 5-5-5-18 2T by default? (Corsair 6400 CL4 800MHz 2x1GB 4-4-4-12)

    Cheers,

It does need a bit more work to get rid of these bugs. The fsb one is the most anoying, especially when trying to get a stable OC.

Any news on the next version? Sean?

There was another one, is there anyway we can help abit by providing feedback on our experiences?

    Cheers

probably because that's what the SPD timing is - it's quite normal for the SPD to be programmed looser than the advertised timings.

And they do it so people can post You wanna run tighter you have to set em' manually. If you are getting loose timings at initial boot (and it actually boots) that means the memory maker did there job right...

Set your memory to "expert" in bios (if you have EPP memory) and it will run your memory at rated specs and bump your voltage too (as long as it is set to auto)

Dunno...I tore mine down and went to an FP IN9. It did work with Beta B06 though...
