POST Stops on F. on AI7

When i started my PC it powered on and all the fans started but it beeped once, made a click noise then never booted into windows and BIOS display, upon opening the case the error code shows F. (no 2nd digit) the green and red L.E.D are on next to the POST display, i have tested the RAM, HDD, VGA and these are fine, anyone have any further info on what this POST code might indicate, i have a funny feeling its the power supply as i had a power cut about a week ago now (the PC was working fine after this though) any info would be most appreciated

Its either a dead motherboard or a faulty PSU. Try another PSU, if the motherboard still fails to post then I am afraid the board is dead.
