    Nvstor32.sys Bsod Fp-in9

Somebody please help me before i ditch this board I have done 2 fresh installs of vista ultimate 32bit and keep getting the above error (BSOD) i have narrowed it down to sata/ide drivers but cannot fix it. It will bsod when am installing patches or downloading files. I have reinstalled chhipset drivers x amount of times with the problem allways coming back. I have 1 sata drive as main and a ide as back up. This didnt happen on xp so am sure its the nividia chipset drivers. Any ideas would be VERY helpful. Thank you

Arrrghhhhhh still cannot fix this. I have tried old & latest drivers with no success. Also tried to manual update them by device manager still no luck

Which chipset version of the nvidia drivers are you loading. Some people are reporting the same issues with version 15.00.

All the info on the posts is for fresh installs Is there any older Vista 32bit chipset drivers or does anybody know of a way of manually updating them. I have searched hard and long without sucses. The POS drivers are really doing my head in now. Every time i install a game my pc will lockup and BSOD on me. I cant be the only one with this problem. I have been building my own pc's for over 4 years now and have never had hassle like this. Thanks

Try changing your IDE cable- I had a similar problem with Windows BSODing constantly at one point and it turned out to be due to a faulty round IDE cable I was using. Changed it for a spare ribbon cable and it was fine.

I think i have sussed it. I uninstalled all nvidia drivers except for display. Rebooted and vista found the nvidia drivers for me. I then tried to install a game and patch and it worked Very Happy Hopefully it will be all good now. It would fail instantly before, Will the vista drivers be good enough though and give me the same'ish performance. Thanks
