Bios Reset after S3 with BIOS 18 on AB9 Pro

Hi all.
I am experiencing something pretty weird.
Since I flashed to bios 18, I've had all the uGuru config reset on boot.
Basically computer starts, nothing is displayed and then stops.
It starts again with fans at full throttle and FSB back to 266MHz.
Is it something related to the last version of the bios?
Even Fan EQ is modified to weird values.
I run stable at 460*7 with low temps so I don't understand what is causing that problem.
Any help much appreciated.
Until then I'll just stop putting it to sleep!

Did you clear / reset CMOS after flashing new BIOS?

Did you reset BIOS settings to standard before the Flash?

I did put all values to default before flashing but I did not clear CMOS.
Do I need to do that every time???
It's a bit anoying to go over all the config.
I'll try that and see if there's any difference.

Yes, you should always clear / reset CMOS after a BIOS flash.

Having to re-do your BIOS settings (unless you have saved them) is the way it is I am afraid.

I have all mine written down so I can re-input them in just a few minutes. You need to do this anayway as a bad OC may result in you having to clear/reset CMOS to re-boot.

does the AB9 not have BIOS profiles where you can save & then reload them?

Well... it does have profiles in the guru application under windows.
It's true I didn't think about that.
I just overclock in the bios directly and was disapointed not to find the option there.
I'll try that as I guess it should work.
Do you do that on your quad gt?

does it not have that setting ability in the BIOS too (usually F6 to save & F7 to load)?

I do use the uGuru user profile presets - 1 for quiet browsing, 1 for overclocked gaming etc.

Oh yes you are right!!! This is my first Abit mobo and I am not too familiar with the uGuru chip.
It starts to really impress me!
