Abit QuadGT Bios Flash for 1333

    .
    .
I have an Abit Quad GT board, brand new...

Haven't bought my chip yet and wanted to get a E6X50 (1333) chip.

I know I need to flash the bios to ID:14 (to get 1333 working) first and was wondering if I can still do the Flash with a new E6X50 chip..or am I screwed and need to flash with a 1066 chip first....

afaik the board will run with a 1333fsb CPU without BIOS14 - I certainly saw screenies of them months before BIOS14 was released - just that you probably have to manually set the multi/fsb etc. as the BIOS wouldn't be able to recognise the CPU (no microcode for it).
