Hi

I'm looking to build myself a media centre using the above board with a E4400. Do you guys know if the board is good for overclocking?

I'm looking to get the E44 to run at around 3.0 gig, so it needs decent voltage adjustments plus a nice range of memory dividers.

At the moment, I have a Gigabyte G33 S2 board, but I'm looking to get rid of it as it's an appalling board to overclock. There are no memory dividers for me to use so I'm stuck at 2.5 gig at the moment.

afaik the max fsb on the F-I90HD that anyone has achieved is ~370.

Is there not a new BIOS for the Gigabyte with more memory ratios incl a 1:1?

What memory dividers you get depends on what processor you put on the mobo. If you use a processor with a FSB of 266, you get the option to use 2.5 as a FSB multiplier.

If you use a processor with a 200 FSB, you only get the option of using either a 4 or 3.33 as your FSB multiplier.

So with a FSB of 280 * 3.33, it gives me a memopry speed of 932, and this is causing stability. So I'm buggered, so I'm now looking for a mobo that have more options in the bios...
