Funny you should mention that I have been looking at the crucial ballistix memory today and looks like I will order some and see if that works without any problems.

Although its not on the abit approved list thing, I have seen a number of people are using this memory so if it doesnt work then I will rma my board. The ballistix are rated very highly on the ocuk forum and also seem to be alot of people with ip35 pro & ballistix combinations.

I was thinking of going for the Crucial 2x1GB PC2-5300 set as its cheaper and then upgrade to 4gb as the difference is meant to be neglible compared to higher rated stuff. Only notice it in stuff like bandwidth tests, and like you say should overclock well.
