AN8 32X booting problems ?

This board is in the second pc, installed Gears of war and installed the single core AMD driver when asked or it won't play it, now all was fine until it was uninstalled.

Uninstalled Gears of war and the AMD driver and rebooted but the PC would not boot up code 7F .

I've tryed clearing cmos, using 1 stick of ram but still won't boot, the only way I got it to boot was moving the graphics card from PCIe slot 1 to slot 2 and it booted and all was fine is the motherboard dead or is there another way to get it to boot on slot 1?

Are you getting a display? As 7F is perfectly normal if you have cleared the cmos.

No, I am not getting any display on PCIe slot 1 but on PCIe slot 2 it boots and all is fine.

On slot one it displays 7F on the mobo.

On slot 2 it displays FF.

Me thinks that slot 1 is dead ?

I think I've found the problem, the DVI cable from the monitor had bent pins in it which caused the display not to boot, I've straighten out the pins and all is fine
