    Which Bios version is this?

Sorry for the noob question but can't work out the Bios version for my new IP35 Pro, when I start the machine it says bios version 1.06.09 but this doesn't seem to correspond to the Abit bios versions i.e. 16b*** etc.

Also as I'm running an Intel 8400 Wolfdale do I need to flash the board?

    Thanks,
    Martin

where exactly does it say that?

If you open FlashMenu it will tell you the BIOS version.

Re: Which Bios version is this?

as it POSTs hit Del to enter the BIOS.
On the main BIOS screen on the right hand side about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up should be something like
    (P35-W627DMG-6A790AIBC-14).
The bit that I have made bold is the BIOS version.

Thanks Buff, V14 it is. Completed the build as per the my system link and everything is working fine apart from the CPU Temp monitoring but as I am not planning on OC'ing this doesn't worry me at all.

Re: Which Bios version is this?

If it's running fine then don't bother flashing (if it ain't broke ...) but if you have problems with funny temp or voltage readings & it causes problems you may want to flash.
