I recently tried BIOS 16 for the IP-35 Pro motherboard but it incorrectly reported the temperature of my Intel Q6600 CPU. Looking through the Abut USA forums this seems to be a known problem now. I have reverted to BIOS 14 that does report the correct temperatures for 65nm CPUs (eg. Q6600).
Thus, would you be able to find out if Abit have acknowledged this problem and intend to fix it in a future BIOS version? Once again, this is for the IP-35 Pro motherboard. It would be a shame to not be able to use a newer BIOS because of a simple temperature reporting issue (it causes havoc with alarms and fan speeds as BIOS 16 reports the temp as around 20 degrees C higher than it actually is).
