Thumbs down Dead IP35-E after a bad BIOS flash

My mobo wasn't POSTing properly (only booted past POST 1/10 times) & it would 'double boot' at all other times. If it did let me press DEL to get into BIOS it would start to go into it but freeze on a black screen with a single flashig cursor but not enter the BIOS.
All my components were ok, cmos reset but the problem remained so I went to update the BIOS, it flashed it then got to 43% on the next stage (it escapes me what it said) then froze. I left it for 45mins but it didn't move so I sadly had to pull the plug & hope!

Well, now my board is dead, it won't even POST & just keeps restarting, can anything be done apart from uying a new BIOS chip? Yes I know I shouldn't have done a flash in windows but I don't have a floppy drive & i did it with this board months before these problems started & it worked perfectly, also if the program doesnt work properly then it shouldn't be available! Latest BIOS/program was used downloaded straight from the Abit site.

    Help!!

you can also flash from an USB memory stick.
FlashMenu does work although there is an inherently larger risk flashing in Windows & it sounds like your PC wasn't really stable.
Also, you didn't flash with an overclock did you?

any USB stick? I have an old mp3 player that may work?..As it won't POST is this possible?

It wasn't OC'd when i flashed as i'd already reset the CMOS by then trying to get the thing to boot, when i eventually got into windows I then tried to flash it.
