    Abit An-M2HD Vcore Options

I've had my An-M2HD for a while now with no complaints, its the basis of my HTPC.

I wanted to undervolt the CPU I'm currently using to cut temps a little, but for some reason I can't go lower than 1.25v......I'm sure I've seen others going lower?? Is 1.25v the lowest setting available on this board?? 1.25v is the stock volts for my chip.

recent abit BIOS for their mobos all use the individual installed CPU's VID to set the low threshold for manually selectable Vcore.

Cool'n'Quiet will of course allow it to run lower automatically when not requiring full power.

Thanks for the info. I thought that the BIOS was pulling the CPUs VID and locking the lower limit. Annoying if you want to underclock though, but as you say CnQ is whats thats for.

I use CnQ as its my HTPC to clock the CPU down to about 1Ghz.
