Abit Airpace not installing properly on Vista x64 clean install

I have tried to install the software & drivers from cd and the 64bit vista download from the abit site, yet both will install the software and drivers, yet when the software runs it throws up the error

"No Abit Airpace wireless card found" or similar, so it cannot get on to do updates

It's on vista ultimate 64bit and a clean install

Can you check the device manager? Most likely it will be displayed with an explanation mark. Then update the driver manually and give "C:\Windows\system32" a driver location.

Device shows up as working fine

Tried updating it manually but it says it is the latest version

Tried running the software in admin mode too

    Hi

I had the same problem with my one, 1st thing 1st.

Turn off your rig, then take out the Airpace Card from the PCIE Slot, re-insert it, now when you re-insert it, make sure the green led in rear of the card is illuminating or blinking, this usually happens when you turn on your PC. Sometimes I have found by fiddeling with the card within PCIE Slot seems to get a proper connection with the mainboard. The card should show a permanent green light once it has started working.

I think there seems to be a problem with these cards regarding correct power.
